Annotating webpages in Chrome

Idea: I’d like to have the ability to annotate a webpage natively in Chrome.

When i’m done reading the webpage, export the page into a pdf with all the highlights I made in the text and all the marginalia shown next to the related parts of the webpage.

Any ideas on how to accomplish this? This idea was also posted on Google Plus and the Google Chrome product forum.

  1. This would be extremely useful if published as a complete extension instead of relying on various extensions to get it done.

    1. Totally Rich! Right now I do the following procedure:
      1) Load a page in browser
      2) Click the instapaper bookmarklet
      3) Go to instapaper.com and load the article
      4) Save as a PDF into dropbox
      5) Sync Goodreader iOS app
      6) Open file in Goodreader, read, and annotate.
